The 2019 edition of the 2019 Mostarda Festival was presented on Thursday 26 September in the Lombardy Region of Milan.
After the success of the previous editions, the event aims to bring to attention an ancient product of Lombard cuisine revisited in a modern key through two consecutive weekends in the name of tastings, show cooking and culture.
After the event in Mantua that will be held on October 13th, the following week on Saturday 19th and Sunday October 20th, Cremona will be the capital of mustard.
The event will begin with the opening of the Mostarda Village and Palamostarda in the Public Gardens of Piazza Roma, where there will be initiatives dedicated to visitors of all ages including show cooking, tastings, live music, workshops for children Mostarda Kids and talk show.
The main novelty of this edition is the partnership inLombardia which will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the artistic and cultural heritage of two must-see destinations in the region and to receive a stamp on the Passport in Lombardy.
The 2019 edition will also be colored green. For the first time ERSAF (Lombardy Region Body for Services to Agriculture and Forests) takes part in the Festival of Mostarda, will supply about twenty plants to the planned initiatives. It will be a real "mustard wood" where in the gardens of Piazza Roma next to the Palamostarda, you can admire the fruit trees of pears and apples.
